Babies/toddlers crying

visible chest hair

lawnmowers

hammocks, spanish music minus one artist,

hearing people speak in spanish who are not loved ones

spanish bakeries/shops, those big, tall round candles that usually feature the virgin mary or jesus

EXTRA trigger.gif peeing and w*ping (I try not to pee, or hold it for as long as I can before going),

the first cd I ever received

Masks of any kind (this is one I'm slowly overcoming :) )

people being too close to my face/making weird faces at me,

playing 'doctor'

mall music (music played in dept stores in the 90's)

barney and the backyard gang--only that 'version of the show' (sometimes it's comforting though? I'm 26. Ha.)

Reading Rainbow

Wow, I feel weird listing all of these. I've never listed them before. I feel guilty.

Words that pertain to things that I went through. It can be as simple as one word.

When men get in my personal space. I can only handle my husband and son's touch.

When people say just get over it. It unlocks the door and everything will come flying out at once.

Bees, snakes, spiders. Long mirrors that can be nailed to the wall. Trash trucks.

Tall, muscular men with Sandy blond hair.

Women with long platinum blond hair.

Certain body positions.

I love dogs but large ones can start a flash back. When I see animals humping each other.

Peppermint

Because my SA and overall unhealthy relationship happened when I was a teen I find teenagers a trigger. I've been finding (while on training to be a high school teacher) that young adolescent boys who look like my ex trigger anxiety and fear in me. Blonde hair with brown eyes, a slime but muscular build and same fashion or even similar vice all trigger me. Even hearing teachers speak about a teen break up in the school made me uneasy.

That's a weird trigger.

I want to work as a teacher in secondary school so this is something I'm going to have to work on.
