Pandora's Aquarium, Inc., is selling safety whistles for our yearly fundraiser. The whistles come in silver or purple, and are engraved with your choice of two logos:

The logos are laser-engraved, giving an appearance of white text. The whistles are made of metal and are 2.5" long and have a keychain loop. We recognize that safety whistles are not something that can necessarily prevent an attack - but they are something that can draw attention to you in the event that you need it. These whistles are LOUD. They also raise awareness about an important issue and resource.

The cost includes flat-rate shipping and packaging in a padded envelope.
Shipping is done by standard first class. Within the U.S., whistles should arrive within one week of your order. International shipping time depends on location, but usually arrive within 7-20 days.
For domestic (US) orders:
The first whistle: $5.00
Each additional: $4.00
For example, if you live in the US and want 3 whistles, the cost is: 5 + 4 + 4 = $13.00.
For international orders:
The first whistle: $6.00
Each additional: $4.00
For example, if live outside the US and want 3 whistles, the cost is: 6 + 4 + 4 = $14.00.
For a currency converter, see this website: http://www.xe.com/ucc/. As of today, the first whistle will be 3.89 EU, 3.08 British pounds, 6.28 Canadian dollars, and 6.59 Aus dollars. These change daily, but if you pay by paypal, it will do the currency work for you.
The increased cost of international orders is due solely to additional shipping costs.
Order with Paypal
Please make certain that your orders include your Pandora's Aquarium username (if you have one), mailing address, and the quantity, colors and phrases of whistles ordered. If something is missing, we will contact you but you will get your whistles faster if your order is complete at the time that you place it!
Please make it clear what you're ordering. For example, include something like this in addition to your username and mailing address:
1 purple Pandora's Aquarium whistle, 2 silver Break the Silence whistles
Paypal is the preferred method of payment because it is instant and easy. This is the only method you can use if you want to pay by credit card. To do so, you do not need an account. If you have or open an account, you can also use your bank/checking account OR credit card to make payment using paypal.
Use this form to place your paypal order:
Once you've filled in your username and order details, click "Buy Now" you will be redirected to Paypal. First, enter the total cost of your order and click "update total". The Paypal page is going to say Quantity: 1, but as long as you entered your order in the form above and pay the proper amount, you will get what you request.
Then, if you have a paypal account you can log in using the form on the right side and you can proceed to pay using your bank account or credit card.
If you do not have a paypal account, there is a link on the left side that says "Don't have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue". Click Continue to proceed without an account (using your credit card).
You MUST include with your payment:
your CORRECT shipping address
board user name
color, phrases and number of whistles ordered
Note: we receive absolutely no information about your credit card number. What we get is your shipping address, email address, and the information you enter in the text boxes (required information is above).
Order Through Mail
With this method, you can pay by check, money order, or concealed cash (though this is not recommended as it is untraceable - if you pay by cash, please be certain that the money is wrapped in paper so it is not visible through the envelope).

Other Questions
When are Orders Shipped?
If you pay by PayPal, within a week of when you sent payment. If you pay by check through the mail, after your check has cleared with the bank (7-10 days). If you pay by cash/money order through the mail, within a week of the arrival of your payment.
What if my Order Never Arrives?
We would like you to wait two weeks to see if they show up, but post offices do lose things! If after two weeks your order hasn't arrived, you have a choice of a full refund or replacement whistles being sent.

Pandora's Aquarium, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of Minnesota.
Our mission is to provide information, facilitate peer support and offer assistance to male and female survivor of sexual violence and their friends and family.
Our primary program is maintenance of the Pandora's Aquarium online support community, which includes a message board, chat room, and survivor blogs. The community is among the largest on the internet, with more than 9,000 registered members and 700,000 archived posts. The community is open to male and female rape and sexual abuse survivors and their supporters.
Pandora's Aquarium also operates the Sexual Assault Lending Library, which provides materials free of charge to community members nationwide, with the organization covering the costs of shipping both ways.
We are always seeking to improve and expand our existing activities, and meet the needs of sexual violence survivors through new programs.
