AMSOSA - Adult Male Survivors of Sexual Abuse - formerly Male Survivors Swindon, a long-standing resource


Childhood Sexual Abuse

Stop the Silence: Stop Child Sexual Abuse - Stop the Silence is dedicated to ending the silent epidemic of child sexual abuse through education, awareness, and systematic changes

National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) - An organization doing whatever it can to support survivors of child abuse

Adults Surviving Child Abuse (ASCA) - An organisation aiming to improve the lives of adult survivors of child abuse.

National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) - Fresh Start comprises of a number of services who work together with colleagues within and outside NSPCC to develop knowledge, skills and practice in the area of child sexual abuse.

Little Warriors:  A Canadian charitable organization that educates adults about how to help prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.

RAINN - The Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network. Full of resources, with a telephone hotline (US callers) and online hotline (anyone can participate)

The Joyful Heart Foundation - This organization's mission is to heal, educate, and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.

SOAR - Speaking Out About Rape: See the amazing work of founder and survivor Kellie Greene in breaking the silence about sexual assault, including the yearly Operation Freefall and TEAM SOAR, a group of trained violence speakers.

NSVRC - The National Sexual Violence Resource Center serves as the nation’s principle information and resource center regarding all aspects of sexual violence.

Condition Critical - Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) UK project highlighting the plight and sharing the stories of Congolese victims of rape.

The White Ribbon Campaign - The largest effort in the world of men working to end violence against women.

This is Not an Invitation to Rape Me - Rape Crisis Scotland initiative in addressing myths about sexual assault

The Truth About Rape (TAR) - A campaign for women to join that protests legal and social bias against sexual assault survivors.

Men Can Stop Rape - Fantastic men's initiative for ending sexual violence

SAFER (Students Active for Ending Rape) -Organizes training and provides support to college students so that they can win improvements to their schools' sexual assault prevention and response activities.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes - The International Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence.

PAVE - Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment is an organisation using education and action to shatter the silence of sexual and domestic violence.

Take Back the News - An organization focused on changing media representation of rape and sexual assault.

One in Three Women - A global initiative aiming to raise awareness of violence to women, including honor killings and slavery

(Wo)men Speak Out - A non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating rape, sexual assault and gender violence.

Legal Resources

WomensLaw.org - Women's Law provides easy-to-understand legal information and resources to women living with or escaping domestic violence or sexual assault, including an email hotline.

Resource for a Recourse - an online database of the statutes and laws governing sexual assault and domestic violence in the US.

SOL-Reform.com - an organization working to reform statutes of limitations on child sex abuse.

CourtPrep - Interactive site for witnesses preparing to testify. Information is relevant to Canada, but it has some good tips that would apply anywhere.
