Ok. I have been putting this off for silly reasons. But here I go….

Call me Mingo. Pronounced Ming-go. It is not my name. It has nothing to do with my name. I barrowed it from my great-grandmother (I thought it was her first name, it was not). I do not like my name (or my nick) shortened. That goes back to my real name… people shorten it all the time and I hate it. I am a 25 year old female. I was born in February . I have dark strawberry blond hair. I have Blue eyes and I am 5’ 6” tall.

This is a great idea...
Let's see where to start.
I'm 19 years old just finishing up my first year of college. I love the freedom and lifestyle college has offered me. Almost like a new beginning. I love playing volleyball, which I have been doing for 6 years now. It is the best sport ever! I also love to cook, one day when I am older I hope to open my own restaurant up north somewhere. A small family style place where everyone who comes feels right at home. I love kids and would like to be a junior high school teacher once I graduate from college. I have found tremendous healing powers in writng and listening to music. I love all types of music from classical to rap. I try to be optimistic about everything life throws my way, even though it doen't always happen! I also love learing all about everyone on here! It makes me feel like I have so many friends! Thanks EVERYONE!

Also, since last time, I entered the world of the gainfully employed. I work at a United Methodist Mission as a secretary and jack of all trades. I've found a talent for solving computer problems that I didn't know I had, and I've enjoyed working on my employer's website. I'm taking a self-paced home study course in website development after I recover from my surgery, and I'm pretty excited about that. You could look at my picture in the "who am I talking to" thread. I've lost about twenty pounds since the last photo was taken, and I'm pretty excited about that, too.
This was neat -- and I've gone on long enough.

Hi, im Jenny, (jennifer) im 16, and im 5'11 with strawberry blonde hair (originlly) i have blue/green/grey eyes, they change colour which i really cool! Im a leo too! (august 5th)
Im Welsh, and i dont have any brothers or sisters.
Im studying media, english and computer science at the monent, im in my first year of studying them...
I dont really have a role model, and i dont really have a favourite famous person.
my favourite food has got to be chinese, gawd i love the stuff! uhhh, i love fridays coz its the start of the weekend! woo hoo!

My fave band is slipknot, although i do love other stuff, i mainly go for songs rather than artists! I love to read (stephen king rules!) and sit in my room listening to music, it just makes me so relaxed! ooo andi love to at ice cream! heh

uhh what else, oh yeah i love rain, the sound and being out in it its just amazing, i also love thunder and lightening.. oo owow!

my favourite film is by disney and its pocahontas (omg!!) i ever usually admit that but wow i love it! heh

I live with my (step) dad but i also go live with my mother whenever i can. I dont have any pets, but i love rabbits, their sooo gorgeous, and cats too are really sweet.

my fave alcoholic drink is Jack Daniels, mmmmm yum, i used to drink it a lot but then i stopped going out to pubs and stuff, so i just drink it occasionally :)

I cherish my friends mostly, along with my parents of course! although i dont really get on with my mother.. *shrug*

Ive been in love before, and it really didnt work out, so i guess im kinda scared to go out and fall in love again..

My hair is frequently changing colour, its been green, purple, red and im hoping to get it blue before long! heh

ok, i'm joining the red-dot crusade.

i'm an australian; new south welshmen to be exact (well, welsh-woman...?). i'm 21 and studying data comms at university.

i'm a nerd (as in, computer nerd). i like big, messy, all-night LAN sessions (CTF-UT, Ghost Recon and C&C: Renegade are my current favourites), and i have a soft spot for Tomb Raider. i'd like to get my hands on gentoo; it sounds really interesting. i need to degauss my monitor... *klunk*... ahh...

i play several musical instruments. i like yoga and meditation, and i have crystals. my favourite colour is blue. i write; journals, stories, music, anything. sometimes, i draw and/or paint. i'm a vegetarian and i love cooking (though not so much the cleaning up afterwards).

i have a crush on Dilbert and Agent Pendrell (what a novel way to begin a paragraph). i'm not very big on capital letters (as you've probably guessed). my favourite season is winter. i love nighttime. i like rain and i love thunderstorms. i love looking at the stars on a clear night, and have been known to get up at all hours of the night to look at comets or meteor showers and the like.

i love movies, music, and books. i like lots of different styles of music, including ambient, industrial, medieval, rock, and alternative. i like classical music and i love gregorian chanting. as far as books go, i read all sorts of things, but i favour fantasy books, and i've been known to read things like Shakespeare or Chaucer. i have quite a few movies that i really like, but ones that stand out in my memory right now are Hard Core Logo (my all-time favourite movie), Gladiator, and LoTR:FoTR (although there are many others i like almost as much).

i have a passion for ancient cultures and mythologies, and i enjoy reading about and learning their languages (ancient egyptian hieroglyphs, hieratic, and sumerian and akkadian cuneiform especially).

my favourite sport is tennis, and i've been known to get up when it's still dark to watch matches. i like to rollerblade and ice-skate. my favourite football team is Saint George-Illawarra (although if you're not from australia or don't follow the NRL, you probably don't know who they are *g*).

you have to have 100 posts. I deleted some of the ones who are no longer here and got deleted this last go round so the profiles were all screwed up. I didn't want any crazy "someone took my profile" letters I was bound to get if not.

Make the new people come and post and it will be red dotted shortly. Is dotted a word? I think it is, I shall consult my dictionary.......yes it is and it is right before the word dotage which means feeble minded senility which describes me perfectly. Nice. I learned something new.
