Right now I'm at home, with my parents and younger brother. But for most of the year I lived at school in residence.

My names Jessica. I'm 27 going on 28 in August. I'm 5'6 1/2" and 105 -120 lbs depending on whether I went to visit relatives or not. I'm currently in college, and my major is veterinary medicine. I have another six or seven years to go.
1.LIVING ARRANGEMENT: I have a husband, three kids(6,3,& 1), and a dog.
2.WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? Introduction to Physical Anthropology and Art Appreciation

I will start off by telling you that I am a single mom of 2 girls who mean the world to me. I live in New Jersey about 20 minutes from New York City. I used to be able to see the World Trade Center from where I live but unfortunatly no more(may they rest in peace). IF I had to describe myself I would say I'm sort of a punk rock Martha Stewart. I sew, cook, do crafts, garden and I can fold a fitted sheet(LOL) but I also have tattoos and have been know to have some pretty funky hair colors. I feel just as comfortable in a museum or a Broadway Play as I do in a mosh pit. Although I'm starting to embarrass my older daughter because I'm more into the music her friends listen to than she is. I love books. Ok So where to start.
Let's see.....
I am 30 and a single mom to a beautiful 9 yr old girl. She is about all i have in my life. My life revolves around her.
I am 5'2" and weigh.....well lets say that i lied on my id too.
I have blue eyes and long light brown hair.
I love animals. Have quite a bit of a zoo going on sometimes but right now I have 2 dogs. A 2yr old male stafforshire terrier, 80 lbs, named Joxer. Got his name from the tv show xena. If anyone knows the personality of the character on that show that is pretty much my dog. My other is a 3yr old female staffi mix named rainbow. She is just a baby. Love them both to death.
I foster birds of prey.Generally hawks but have had the occasional falcon. My favorite bird is the falcon so i take them every chance I get.

ive been described as a bitch, lol, really im just guarded and aloof and maybe too quick to tell someone where they can stick their bloody opinions(read: i am a bitch)
i am about 5'1", about 115lbs, give or take 10. shoulder length, very dark hair, dyed very red w/ thick blond streaks, have to say my eyes are brown, but theyre kindof reddish yellow really(not as scary as it sounds)
i have two kids, both boys, aged two and four. theyre fantastic, they keep me going, they are my life...but not my whole life.

I have gotten to know so many people here, through posts, or email or talking on the phone, but I don't know people in real life and what the people here are like. I'm so curious. Who are you?
A bit about me.
I am in my late 20's. I have blond hair and blue eyes. 5'5 1/2 and 115lbs.
I have a great and supportive family, whom I live with and have dinner with every night. I have a wonderful boyfriend who is also living here. We are moving out in a few weeks, back on our own. I am scared.
I have a dog, a beautiful, strong and brave girl, whom I spoil even more than I spoil my own self. I drive a convertible. Sushi is my favorite food. I love clothes, and spend a lot on them. I especially love Lilly Pulitzer clothes, and other happy clothes. I have a million pairs of sandals. Winter is my least favorite part of the year, and summer is wonderful. Running is a big part of my life, but it gives me injuries. I am a teacher and I love my job and my students so much. Especially now that I am on summer vacation :)
Now that I am on summer vacation, I am able to see all of my WonderfulWonderful friends a bit more, and that makes me happy and smile.
I love to travel. I've been to many different places, and though I am not up for it now, I will be. A trip to England is will be my starting point. I figure that is easier than going somewhere where I don't know the language.
I love to cook. I Mark Bittman's How to Cook Everything is my favorite cookbook, and I recommend it to the worst and best cooks out there.
I am in counseling. I see a Crisis Counselor once a week, and my boyfriend grudgingly goes to therapy with me once a week. It's helped me and us immeasurably.
I love my life. What's happened has been a road block, but it's an opportunity for growth, and I've taken advantage of it. I am a stronger person than I was two months ago.
I am so happy to have met all of you.

Okay --
I'm Shaina (close enough :)). I'm 29. If you're familiar with the "friends of Barbie" I most resemble Midge, except my eyes are greenish brown and I don't have freckles on my face.
I'm a writer, a wife and a mother. I live in a very rural area. I like to volunteer for St. Jude's Hospital in their fund drives. I draw, and sometimes volunteer teaching in the local elementary school in art. I've also participated in an outreach program, where I provided original fiction for a reading drive for 7th graders at the middle school.
I am close to my family and I'm not -- if that makes any sense. I am closest to my oldest sister. I see my parents a lot and I love them, but they don't really know me. Most people don't.
I love Chinese food, and really good pizza. My favorite author is Stephen King. When I'm angry (a lot of the time) I like to blast Metallica. When I'm calm, I like classical music. My favorite color is green and I like rainy days better than sunny ones.
