what a great idea!

well...I am 20...21 on the 23rd of june, so almost 21
I have shoulder long kind of read hair and brown and green eyes, I have no clue how tall I am or how heavy, we all go by cm and kilos over here...
The most important person in my life is my little baby girl....well, she turns 1 year in 3 weeks, so I guess that makes her a toddler:) She is my everything!!!
I am also married. I meat him 4 years ago in a chat room and we have now been married for one year I love him dearly, and he has been there for me as long as I have known him, and I love him for that.( right now we have a crisis in our relationship though....see how that goes )
we all live in sweden (thats where I am from)
I used to work as a pree-school teacher, but right now Im still a stay at home mom. I loved my work though, so I look forward to go back. In the future I want to get a diploma as a 'specialist craft tutor', thats when you work with people who have problems to express theyr feelings in words, you help them to express them selves with art.
right now we have a cat, her name is 'Trissan Cassiopeja'...she loves water, so its pretty hard to try to do the dishes, shes always there, playing. I am also looking forward to get another dog, right now I am looking at the breed 'bullmastiff' ( VERY nice dogs)

and Im not in therapy right now,I havent been for 2 years actually...I should try to find a new councelor though.I know I should.

Let's see, where do I start:

I'm 24 years old, orginally from Middletown, CT, now residing in Middletown, OH. I guess I really couldn't run far from home. Anyhoodle, I am 5'7", weigh about 170lbs, stormy grey/blue eyes, and short red hair.

I work as a shift supervisor in the security field at a Delphi plant here in the Dayton area. My job is never routine, as we are responsible for any in plant emergencies, and fire suppression system inspections. I will eventually be an officer in law enforcement.

My interests outside of work are mainly sports. I love hockey, women's basketball (college or pro). I spend insane amounts of time online, mostly at night. To stay up until 4am is not uncommon.

I have 5 cats, Mystic, Tygra, Taz, Bambi, and Nytasha. They are all brats just like their mother. I'm either in trouble or causing it.

I am also very much into fantasy especially Dragons. I have an entire collection. It shouldn't be too much of a shock seeing my screen name is SnowDragon.

My favorite movie these days is Miss Congeniality. Sandra Bullock is my favorite actress. My favorite music is whatever my mood is at that time.

okay well...yeah, I'm 5'9" and 130 lbs. I am 20 years old and live in California. I am obsessed with music and really don't get people who aren't. I write poems, but only one person in the whole world has read them. Which is my very good friend who totally gets me, i think we are twin souls.

I'm about to start my third year of college which is quite exciting because I never even thought i could afford to go to college. I'm moving into a new house this summer with some friends. I'm quite excited about that.

I'm going to learn to play the piano in the fall, just because i can. I used to know how to play the flute, but it has been quite awhile.

I don't get my parents and they really don't get me. I think we have just learned to except that. My older brother and I understand each other completely. I'm not sure about the other siblings, sometimes I wonder about them. If I had one wish it would be for my family to actually show an emotion other than anger once in awhile.

I have a boyfriend who I love dearly. He understands me completely and I look forward to seeing him everyday. I think he is my best friend.

I work in an office, it's really boring. I don't think I'm going to do that for long. After I graduate (with a business degree) I think I would like to run a charity of some sort. I don't like people who just major in business to make money, it makes me sad. But then again I'm weird.

My name is Joelle and I live in Ontario, Canada.
I currently work as an office administrator but am planning to go back to university to study human kinetics and become a physio therapist.

I have a pet holland lop bunny named Jerry and my housemate has a black, crazy cat named Ragnarok (that's a Norse word that means the end of the word!) and he lives up to the name, believe me! He also has a taratula named Louisa...I'm not overly fond of her. Creepy!

My birthday is January 2, and I'm now in my 25th year on this the planet earth. Trying to make my mark for immortality, I'm eager to study all subjects such as science, philosophy, history and theology. I also like to read fiction as well. Specifically Fantasy. My favorite author is Sharon Shinn. She wrote this amazing trilogy called the Archangel series. BEAUTIFUL, is all I have to say about that.
I love to laugh and comedy is one of my favorite movie genres as well as thriller. My favorite movies include Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon; Contact; Arsenic and Old Lace; Monty Python's Live at the Hollywood Bowl.

I didn't believe that luck was anything that I would be privy to. That my life would always be filled with pain.
But with 'luck' I've realized that only I can make myself suffer and have made a vow never to do it anymore.

I plan to continue posting to this board and meeting you all at least once.

I am bored out of my mind right now so figured that I would do this to kill some time. :-)

My name is Jen and absolutly abhor being called "Jenny" or "Jennifer" - very few people can get away with that. ;-)

I'm 5'2" and a whole QUARTER. :-) Usually I pull off looking at least 5'5" cuz at work I wear 3" heels, so people are always surprised if I'm wearing flats.

My hair started out blonde when I was a kid...then turned more brownish, then turned red when I started dying it 2 years ago.

I live in the US in Virginia right outside of Washington D.C.. For some reason people seem to think that because I live in Virginia I lived on a farm and stuff...nope! Farms around where I live (suburbs/city) are like an attraction the same as a zoo is.

I'm 22 years old and no one can ever guess my correct age. If people have known me for awhile they usually thing I'm A LOT older because of the way I act and carry myself and give advice, etc. If someone doesn't know me and just looks at my appearence they usually think I'm A LOT younger than I really am. I still get carded to see rated "R" movies! :-P

Hmm...what else? I'm currently living with my parents b/c I can't afford to move out...rent here is starting at 񘈨 a month for a small 1 bedroom...it's ridiculous. I currently work as a stupid smiling desk monkey at the Nat'l HQ of one of the top 5 cell phone companies. (If you're looking at buying a cell PM me and I'll tell you what NOT to buy...my cell company SUCKS!) :-)

I have a wonderful b/f Justin who I have been with for 8 mo. now...he's the best and one day we'll get married. :-) He's a composer and a substitute teacher, so he's poor just like me.

I was a U.S. Marine...three years in service before I was medically discharged for rehumatoid arthritis at 18 yrs. old. I was active 6 mo. before I went to my reserve unit back home. I had tons of fun there :-)

What I really want to do in life is to write and eventually open up my own Rape Crisis Center somewhere either in this area or in New England somewhere.

I used to do Tae Kwon Do and was a black belt, I would love to still do it but b/c I have arthritis that limits a lot of things.

I love reading and learning cool new things. I'm big into psychology and personalities and stuff and could talk for hours about it. I always refer to myself as a nerd :-) but I just like learning new stuff so I can help out other people and keep up with my disgustingly brilliant boyfriend. :-)

I love watching hockey, the Washington Caps are my team - they suck most of the time but I have loved them for 7-8 yrs. now and can't stop. :-) One of these days we'll win the Stanley Cup. :-)

Hmmm...can't think of anything right now - and gotta run and do some "work." :-)

Who am I? It's easy to say who I'm not. I'm no longer a victim, but I am a survivor. But that doesn't answer who I am. I'm a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister, a friend. I'm not my past any more than I'm my future. I'm the me I am now. And who's that? My name is Kelly and I'm 25 years old. I'm a Scorpio, but don't believe everything you hear about us. I'm 5'8" and weight is not going to be mentioned! I have green eyes and red hair and am of Irish decent (as if you couldn't guess!). I was born in Huntington (Long Island) NY but was relocated to Maryland (just outside of Annapolis) when I was quite young. I've been writing since I was seven, and that's what I want to do with my life. I'm an avid reader, devouring four to five books a week. A self-proclaimed nerd, I prefer watching the Discovery Channel, the Learning Channel, the Health Channel and the History Channel (as well as MSNBC) over regular television. But I'm not what you'd expect. Though I'm often outspoken, I'm really shy. I'm told I have a great sense of humor and that I'm compassionate. I love making people laugh and there's nothing I enjoy more than helping people out. I have three tattooes, all of which I LOVE! My frist one (gotten back in Mayter a friend died) is a butterfly flying to a chinse symbol that means "Live for today." Butterflies symbolize freedom to me, so that means I'm granting myself the permission to live my life. That one is on my right calf. My next tattoo (gotten in August) is my favorite. It's the egyptian eye of horace (I love anything egyptian, anything pretaining to myth), but instead of an eyeball in the center, it's the world. the eye of horace symbolizes protection, and with the world, to me it means looking over all mankind. That's on my right shoulder. My third tat, gotten after 9/11, is another chinese symbol (this time on my left leg) and it says HOPE. I love my tatts. I hate pain because it's all I know. I have fibromalgia (however you spell it) as well as many other problems. Yet getting those tats gave me so much self esteem. It's stupid I know, but they really helped. I am so glad I got them. I'm going to get a fourth (the tattooed lady, LOL). It's going to be the RENT symbol from the broadway show. That show is very important in my life and I'm going to get it over my heart. Gay I know...but who cares. Its my body and my body is my temple. I'll worship it anyway I want!!!!

As you can guess, music is my life. Broadway is heaven. I live and breathe music and writing. I love hanging with friends but am just as happy to stay alone.

Who am I? I am me, and I offer no apologies. If you don't like me, fine. That's how I live. that's how I survive. True, I am hurt by those who do dislike me, but that doesn't rule my life :)

Can't believe I never did this.

Oh well here we go. I'm 28 and will be going back to school in the fall so my boring job with the mean boss doesn't matter anymore :)

I live in NoVA (Northern Virginia) currently with my folks...which is at least cheap.

I have one dog...the cutest little Jack Russell ever. Her name is Skokey.

In my free time I read (books have always been my escape) I'll read anything currently I'm reading "The River King" by Alice Hoffman (one of my favorite writers) and the Dahmapadra (spelling?) I know I'm weird and I kind of like it that way. I have the Koran, Bible, Book of Morman, Dahmapadra, Freud's writings on relgion, Hume's dialogs, and the Annalects of Confucious all on the same shelf...what can I say the stuff fasicnates me *shrug*

I also like to paint...water colors are my paints of choice. I write to a lot. Mostly poetry, some people have told me it's pretty good, and I did get an A in creative writing/poetry course in college...but I don't know. I don't write it for others anyway...it's about me.

I like to be outside. Something peaceful about not haveing walls around you. I love the way a horse farm smells. The earthy, sweet, smell of hay, manuore, and animals.

hi i am new here. i posted my story just a few days ago..and i am amazed with how comfortable i felt in doing it. i am a 22 yr old college student, majoring in Human Development. i am expected to graduate this summer 8-02, and then i want to begin working in social work. i am especially looking forward to working with alzheimer's patients and their families (counseling).
hobbies, etc. : i don't really do much. i like to watch tv occasionally, i have lots of cds, movies, dvds, i love my computer, and like to play games. i got away from really enjoying life and having a good time while in my abusive relationship. so i am just starting to enjoy myself right now. i find the most important thing i do right now in life, is talk to my friends and family; my support. they are great...i wouldn't be here without them.
i have brown hair, hazel eyes, i am 5'4, and overweight (won't tell how much though). i am a survivor of domestic violence, rape, child abuse, and incest. i have many stories, and i am ready to begin working on how i feel about everything.
i find it great to be here...and i am glad to be able to read other stories and thoughts, and know that i am not alone.

When the song "Jaded" first came out, my best friend turned to me and said, "That song fits you perfectly." Once you get to know me you'll know I have a dry sense of humor. I use that humor as a defense. I'm not squeamish at all; I've worked with the police department for a couple years, seen some pretty nasty things, and people are always amazed at how calm I am all the time. I do tend to be semi-paranoid, though (ie always sitting so I can see everything that's going on); my friends call it my "cop instinct."

I'm 26, 5'5", dark brown eyes and dark brown (sometimes auburn) hair. I'm married to a wonderful, understanding husband who is trying to help me through this minefield and is currently running around like a monkey to get me out of my depression I'm currently in...it's a true blessing. We've been married almost 3 years, no kids yet, truth be told right now I'm scared to have kids, but one day hopefully.
