Re-activation Why?

i just got an email asking me to re-activate my account, as it'd been inactive for a few months.  but i just posted a week or two ago.  i did reactivate it, so it's not a problem.  i was just wondering why this happened.

Hiya,

Did you get the email like...two minutes before you posted?

I did a mass prune of all the members who hadn't logged in here, at the new board, to try to clean up the database. Unfortunately, some of those who got the email had been online just last week (at the old board). So that's why :)/>

Thanks for checking about it though, and I'm glad the validation worked.
