An ode to confusion (2):

Posted by Simpletruth , in Uncategorized, Poetry 02 July 2013 · 104 views

O confusion,
Dear and disturbed,
Why do you fill my heart so?
I'd like to be rid,
Of the quarrel within,
But you propel me further on,
and on it goes.
Will this ever happen?
Will it ever occur?
Will I wait in vain for sorrow?
Will I wait in vain for pain?
Will the laughter of the millions mock me audibly,
While I hang my head in shame.
Will I chide myself forever for the foolish decisions made?
I open my heart to the promises of the past,
In hopes that the dreams of the future,
Become realities in the present.
I pray that love will not be the four letter word
Drenched in deceit and buried beneath,
But that all the magic of the always
Will sing the song of forever,
And then some.

I love your poem.
