For those with Addiction & Trauma issues in Pennsylvania.

Interim House, Inc.
333 West Upsal Street
Philadelphia, PA 19119
215.849.4606
www.interimhouse.org

Long-Term Rehab, IOP, and regular outpatient counseling.

Uses a trauma-informed care approach called the Sanctuary Model. Also uses a lot of non-verbal expression good for people with Alexithymia and Body Memories (Movement Therapy, Art Therapy, Yoga, etc.)

**Will treat individuals with or without insurance. If you have a health insurance plan, I would recommend calling first to double check if they take it.

I have personal experience with this place. It's really first rate. They have therapists who have serious credentials and experience in trauma & dissociation. And it's free!

Wanted to add this resource for Pittsbugh area. Womens Center and Shelter. They have a 24 hour hotline, will send people to you in times of crisis, help get you out of an abusive relationship, have housing and funds to help you move, attorneys to help with any legal matters, and free therapy and group sessions
