One day of peace please

I prefer nights my mind is empty and I sleep peacefully. I keep praying the days, weeks, months, yrs that go by will eventually omit the memories from my mind. But they follow me through relationships ruining my most simplest ambitions. Building walls around me instead of bridges between me and those who love me. I just want to be able to feel anything and not just pain and hatred and fear.
