does anyone know if there are communities of professionals-lawyers, doctors that help survivors of rape/incest to find jobs that help other survivors? just wondering given that there are lots of circles of people that help others land positions in careers by virtue of having connections-thanks for any input on this! i ask this today because after almost 10 yrs of intense studying/relocating due to so many distractors and exposure to my perp after not having any contact with him, i really messed up academically, today, my transcript isn't as impressive had i not had so many breakdowns due to people that i had shut out forever-I am not making excuses, i have still persisted, graduated from college, went on to pursue my dream of becoming a doctor-I now am trying hard to find a training position for next year-and i have had to retake some crucial licensing exams-nonetheless, i have prevailed-thanks to my sisters here at Pandys',prayers, and determination-thank you all for your love and support through these tough times! Ria

I wish I had an answer or suggestion for you. I just wanted to say good for you for persuing your dream through all your hardship. I wish I could find a doctor like you. I have had many doctors treat me poorly and wish there were a way to find one that really understood like you. Maybe when you finish your training we will all become your patients!!!!
