Hi Jonathan,

I think that there is a board glitch that has an unknown cause. Another thread about this can be found here.

Hi Jonathan,

They appeared on some posts several months ago. We have no idea why. As far as I know there's no way to remove them so try to ignore them until we upgrade our board. Thanks. :)/>

Some are unlucky and do not get them ...

I have taken to hitting the use full editor and deleting them there.

Ok I just wondered. It was driving me nuts. I really dont want content in my posts that I didnt post myself even silly symbols but if its a board glitch then I wont worry about it.

Jonathan, you can edit them out, just like anything else in your posts. Just delete them when they show up.

For me, they show up if i edit a post. So after i have done my edit, i try to remember to look for the smileys and delete the additional characters. Not ideal but since im editing already its not too bad :)/>
