New online counselling service

On the heels of the 1800 Respect helpline launched last year an online counselling service has been set up.

Thanks so much Carleen. I don't know why I didn't know about the helpline. Could have been extremely helpful a few months ago. Great to know about it now though.

I just heard about the phone line on the radio a couple of days ago and thought I would have to keep it in mind. Thanks for the tip Carleen!

Thank you so much for posting this Carleen. I've had a pretty rough night and the online Councillor was so helpful! I just really need someone to talk too.

Is there a fee for using this, or is it like RAINN where you can talk for free as long as someone's available?

What are the hours of operation of 1800RESPECT?


1800RESPECT is free* and available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.

*some call charges may apply if calling from a mobile phone.
