Language of Survivors

Language of Survivors

Language of Survivors is written in the hours of failed suicide
Attempts cause by thoughts of undeserving breaths
Replaying over and over as the memories are filled with the slaps
Of drunken fools of trying to hold back hands in protest,
For they do not see nor think much differently than a bull in heat
Like a boulder not budging, trapped beneath,
The touch it weakens minds as only frozen memories

Language of Survivors, ingrained to memories in the back of a mind,
Overcoming the thoughts of crazy as the voices
Try to bring down walls founded on pain consumes essences of breath
While trying to forgotten sounds of panicked foot steps
Cursing the home behind, that will ride out the rest like vomit in the pit
Of a clenching trigger to which is causing a need to release
A chemical reaction to produce a particularism of happy

Language of Survivors only grows in moments
That will not erase the buries, the ones that lightly fade away
Never looking black and blue, yet in stilling so much weakness
In the moments of our helplessness we learn to be strong,
As we continue to see life is still the blessing
Even with haunting memories of being weak and small
Lacking so much knowledge, nor knowing truth pertaining to rights of happy.

Language of Survivors is written through the blood
The tears and years of self destruction from hating ourselves,
Only for living through what was self inflicted reflection
Of self condemning and victimizing from the words
That cause tainted thoughts to the souls
Forgetting that life is theirs to be living
And knowing that letting go with time,
With finding truth that living is a choice, a price someone,
Anyone can pay as we learn to be stronger,
Accepting what has been done and still perceiving
Ethical and Moral bases within forming a social community
Holding tight to the grips of their control in means,
Of taking your life, as surviving triggers the brain.

Language of Survivors isn’t fueled by intolerance's or lack of compassion
Surviving doesn’t mean forgetting or trying not to understand them
Surviving is cling in a thought, a day dream, of a better light
A mental state in which we find true peace of mind
