I'm trying to PM someone and keep getting the error.

Ikonboard CGI Error
Ikonboard has exited with the following error:
Not Enough Parameters!
This error was reported at: Sources/Lib/FUNC.pm line 1508.

Just wondering what causes this and if there is anything else I can do except try again later.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,

n.

I noticed this very odd error when trying to log out this afternoon. I'll look into it - PMing is working for me, so I imagine it will work for you after a time. I'm sorry!

Thanks for answering.  It's not your fault.  I figured this was a case of needing patience and waiting for it to fix itself.

thanks again.

Is it not working at all, or just when you try certain people?

Ok it worked when I PM'd you.

So it may have to do with the specific member.  Since right after I pm'd you I tried them again. However despite the error message they seem to have received some if not all of my attempted PMs.   :blush:/>  I feel really stupid having sent the same message multiple times.

So I guess the PM is being sent despite the error message?

I'm totally confused now.

Thanks for your help.

n.

I'm having the same problem.  I tried to PM two different people, same error both times...  don't know yet whether they got them despite the error.

I think I have figured this out.

Things are kind of haywire, and I have no idea why, but these things don't appear to be working:

1. If you send a PM to X, and either you chose to have a read reply, or they have email notification of PM's, you might get an error.

2. The read notification when sending PMs doesnt seem to be working. I might disable it altogether, since I think that is what is causing the issue. I sent a PM to Lis, and got a read receipt, even though she had NOT read it. I think they might be generating automatically.

That function might disappear...sorry, but I think it will fix the issue!
