I just want answers. Anything would do. How does he know me? How did he forget? Did he even know? Do I press it further and risk opening up to a stranger? Would he know the gaps in my mind?

I see him next on sunday and it is arkward as it is. I want to ask but I'm scared.

My grandfather tried to explain to me that I should know this guy from work who asked me out from when I was little. I have no recollection. I was cared for by a distant aunt and I remember very little. I know it was a safe environment. I don't know who made the decision for me to be cared for by her or why I left. The guy doesn't seem to know me, he would have been in his late teens when I was there.
