Even long after the initial "crisis", they were always there to help even if I was having a nasty bout of depression or a panic attack. Have u seen! In the netherlands there's only a phonenumber for children.... no rape crisis centres or somethign like that...

And when i was under 18 i once called them, after swallowing a bunch of pills, and being completely panniced. That day i didnt knew what to do... so i called. U know what the woman said? 'Wéll u shouldn't have done that!'

So i closed connection...

Hey Friends

I see that people often come here asking about existing services when they are in crisis. I often think...d'uh...I don't actually know any numbers offhand.

So I thought that if we had a thread dedicated to international rape/suicide or other relevant resources, it would be so much easier just to direct people to it. What do you think?

I'll cover Oz, although if any of my Oz sisters/bros know of something I've missed, throw it in, won't you?
Even if you know of one phone number in your state or city, that might make all the difference to somebody.
Just pop in the name of the service, it's geographical location and a phone no, along with any other relevant info such as hours of operation etc.

It could be a good and easily accessible resource.
