Why aren't we allowed to refer to SI as anything specific? Or, rather, in specific wording. Is it because that would be too triggering?

Hi lily,

Yes, the details could be triggering to a lot of members so that is one reason. The main one is we try to focus on the healing aspect of SI'ing rather than getting caught up in discussing the graphic details of what or how, which really do not have a place here, but are better reserved for a professionals care. The guidelines for posting about SI'ing can be found here: http:pandys.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=54305 if you are interested in learning more about this. Thanks for asking!

Take care,
Susan
