Also, the times are a bit challenging for some of us outside EST. In the UK in the summer, an 8pm EST chat time is 1am, and obviously it'll be later for those with a bigger time difference. Maybe there aren't enough chatters to justify different times (or maybe there are enough insomniacs!) - I just wondered.

A topic chat is in the normal chat room, but there will be a special room set aside to discuss a particular topic, and it will be hosted by one of the chat moderators. The times are determined based on the availability of our chat mods, and also based on when we've found people are most available. We do try to vary the times whenever possible so that more people can make it!
