So today is my birthday.
It is the first one without my Mom.
It is the first time that I had to take my child out to buy my present.
Today hurts
But...
Today my brother called before 10am to wish me happy birthday.
I got wished "Happy Birthday" for the first time by my nephew.
My daughter brought my breakfast in bed that I accutually enjoyed. (cold pizza, pop, and girl guide chocolate mint cookies :thumbsup:/> )
my Boyfriend is taking me out to dinner.
and one of my best friends is making me a chocolate cake that has over a pound of dutch chocolate in it.
and I have had well wishes from all over the globe.
All in all, today could be a hundred times worse, in fact it is a pretty good day.
but I still miss my mom

Thanks! the end of the day went well too. A friend came over late that night and we sat around and swaped dumb jokes and silly stories over a drink! All in all it was a much better day than I feared
