mbholly
Hi. I am sorry you are hurting and in such a difficult place. There are people here who care and want to support you, but we are more for peer support and not a crisis line. If you have a mental health care provider, please call them. Please consider calling 911 (or whatever number emergency services is where you live)You very much deserve help and care. I know how hard it is to be considering suicide. The pain can feel overwhelming. I want you to know that things can get better. You are not alone. If you are in the US, there is a suicide hotline at 1-800-273-8255. If you need help finding a crisis line in other parts of the world, you can find info at www.befrienders.org. Thinking of you and sending so much care, Mary Beth

I’m suffering from depression and contemplating suicide can someone help ? Hi Guest Guest, I realize that your post was three weeks ago, and mbholly provided a good post with good information about a crisis line. I also realize there's lots of info above on a LOT of resources. FYI, This is my short list for USA crisis hotlines. A little "insider" tip... hotline workers vary a lot. If you call and get a person that doesn't click for you, you might get a different experience if you call again. We know that happens, and are fine with it! Suicide Hotlines: USA Short List National Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255 Trans Lifeline 1-877-565-8860 (for the transgender community) TrevorLifeline 1-866-488-7386 (for LGBTQ youth) Veterans Crisis Line 1-800-273-8255, Press 1 I'm not a personal fan of text or computer based hot lines because it's so much more difficult to understand what's going on just from reading text on a screen. But I know some people really like those formats for various reasons. So here's a USA text line as well: Crisis Text Line Text HOME to 741741
Guest nagenthompson
Sexual abuse is very harmful, but it should be understood that it is not worth giving your life for it, I hope you called one of the numbers that were attached above. If you feel better, you should now deal with the law on sexual violence and punish the perpetrators. I googled a bit and found these codes https://lawrina.com/us-law/federal/codes/title-22/chapter-34/sec-2507b/. I realized that the state is completely on your side in protecting against sexual violence. Therefore, if violence is present, it must be fought and the state is not what it has, but should help you in this

If you are asking for yourself, I'd encourage you to sign up for membership so you can get support from other members here too. It's free and can help survivors who need it.
