Why Heal Sexually?

Why heal sexually? What do you want to gain from it? How will your life be different and more satisfying? How will you know when you've gotten what you want?Simply, I want to feel normal, that I can have sex and not be reminded of the past violations that were done to me. I don't like feeling that my emotional scars dictate how good or bad a feeling is. Sometimes I react and don't know where it's coming from, and if I felt healed, I can better understand it. I want to assure myself and others that my sexuality isn't the result of some asshole, that my actions are born from my desires and my instincts rather than being driven by fear.
