therapy moving on?

Posted by redballon , 24 May 2014 · 34 views

I have been in therapy for a while.
I have never actually spoken about what happened to my t in detail.

I told them what happened I am not sure if that's common or not but its frustrating talking about the future and moving on but not really looking at what happened.

I have been in therapy for about 14 months. Almost every week. I think I might have directly talked about the CSA once or twice. (I only have a couple of memories from it) I had previously read in books on the subject that talking about it is desirable but not necessary to move on. I have been dealing with issues in my current life. Feelings that come up. All a result of the past.

Therapy is individual. There is no one right way for everyone.

Thankyou! That helps a lot :-) Have a nice week.
