It's a Small World

We started doing some drafts of college essays a while ago in my English class. I knew that I wanted to write about my SA but I didn't know if I was ready to have the college counselor know this. Luckily my English teacher knows what happened to me and I was able to talk to him about my possibilities.

I ended up turning in the paper about my SA despite my nervousness, and I hoped she (the college counselor) would have some good feedback. Lo and Behold, my anxiety was for naught! Turns out my college counselor is a SA survivor as well. She wants to have a meeting with me about improving my essay, and I'm honestly pretty excited. Isn't it crazy how things work out sometimes?

That is AWESOME! so so so awesome of you for being so strong, and courageous! this is a great day! celebrate lotus flower! celebrate you!
