As much as I wish I could take back the mistakes, and the rapes, I do not regret the amount of compassion and empathy I have learned in being able to relate to those who have suffered in this sadness. The awareness I have grown from the cruelties sometimes others instill. I do not believe that being mean or rude (unless a mental disorder or those who have been exposed to acts of rudeness or meaness reaction from the experience not always even consciously,) or wanting to hurt others is a nature of humans. I think it is only learned behavior and expected by those inflicted a pond survival, or learned from those who grew bitter and cold due to lack of love and nurture.
