I saw my PCP today and she refused to refill my meds. I do have an appointment with a psychiatrist with the help of NAMI, but that is not until September.
My PCP did call the mental health clinic when I told her that they would not give me my meds. She asked what they thought they were doing over there treating patients with diabetes. I got an appointment to see them tomorrow and also see a therapist. I was scheduled to see the Nurse Practitioner in one month and no schedule to see a counselor though I asked several times to see one. No sure how they will react tomorrow after getting chewed out by my PCP. I do not care as long as they help me. At least until I can see the Psychiatrist.
