this morning i thought that my one md's reccommendation of the need for psycho social support

is actually the medical term for peer support !!!

I am finding the books more insightful than my counselling or "supports""

i find it strange to revisit books that claimed that i would recover

or reclaim my childhood

or reparent myself

are more validating than

the counsellor of the day

now if i can take my notes from all of these books

resort them

maybe i will have a better...

monday, the common area was abuzzed with the news

the problem solving approach

when i have an interpersonal problem

some of my worker suggest problem solving

well to solve a problem

the person I am having the problem with

needs to be part of the process

or the problem will not be solved

and my worker can not speak for the other person

although enough of them try

I have lived in a housing project for years

repairs are sporadically done

rent increases are a higher % than market rent


safety concerns abound


and I do not live a life free from violence

So my MD said that the ongoing heat exhaustion

landlords

so from March to May, there were no grab bars for my bath tub

a leaky tap, then a leaky faucet, neither are repaired

the last time it was over 2 years and the faucet had fallen off

the AC keeps breaking down and leaking

and in the middle of a heat wave

no hot water for four days !!!!!

I tried to be assertive with a government official about a mandatory special neccesity benefit

request. I have been trying for 6 years to get the correct amount. He claimed that my doctor had

told a staff person something which I knew that she would not say. He refused to call her. I ended

My plans for the day are now changed.

All I wanted was a bath and to do laundry !!

There is no water to be had !!!

I am hoping that it is fixed today.

Last July, there was no water for days

during extreme heat.

And then in February, no water for days again.

I am grateful that my air conditioning is repaired

today I can barely walk because of my knee injury

my friend has been phoning fairly steady and is being supportful

and my head is still vibrating from my nephew's phone call

after weeks of no air condtioning, heat exhaustion

plus various health concerns,

my family doctor was able to get my landlord to repair my air conditioning.

now just to recover from the heat exhaustion !!!


I will also have new glasses soon as well

after weeks of no glasses and eye strain !!!!!!
