TRIGGER WARNINGS !!!
She was born at home
an aunt came over to help
the taxi was sent away
she was born before the ambulance arrived
i found out this year that my baby brother at age 2 remembers her birth
i was handed her to hold
so my aunt could help my mom
she was different than my baby dolls
she was different than my baby brother
when the ambulance came, I had to give her to the ambulance crew
she had to go to the hospital
she was sick with jaudice
I was sick on her homecoming
we would often share birthday parties
there are quite a few birthday photos of the two of us together
I shared my bedroom with her for thirteen years
I shared my birthday with her for a few more years
She ran away from home at age 15 after her birthday
Our brother killed himself shortly after her 17 th birthday
It is strange what can happen around birthdays
and what I rememember on that day
