I tried to be assertive with a government official about a mandatory special neccesity benefit

request. I have been trying for 6 years to get the correct amount. He claimed that my doctor had

told a staff person something which I knew that she would not say. He refused to call her. I ended

the conversation with him. I have called her and ask her to speak with him. This has been

repeatedly apealled . It has been taken to tribunals and the ombudsperson and my elected

representative. It has yet to be resolved. The indiginity of this is beyond words to express. I

anticipate that I will be continued to be subjected to this insensitivity. The denial of the proper

benefit

had led to other medical complications. I may write more later

so my doctor and I talked about last week's phone calls with this government official. He had called me back after she had spoken with him. He did not hear her. Her notes match my conversation with her. He, however, did not hear what she said. I need to appeal his decision
solely because he will not be giving me the proper amount. I swear that I will be appealling this for the rest of my life, and my doctor may start agreeing. Any one at the different drug stores understands the situatution within minutes. I am beginning to wonder if he is being deliberately obtuse. And yes, his decision will cause further medical complications.
my tribunal for this is now scheduled for September.

I have sat through at least 5 "Early Resolutions " hearings.

My health is not improving.

I am cranky and miserable.
my tribunal is fast approaching

and the bureaucrats are yet again

having my doctor repeatedly fill out the same form

over and over and over

and then deny the benefits

so that I can request a review

and wait forever for a tribunal
and then they severe the hearing a month before

and then it is yet again adjourned

and now it is combined again

i get the feeling that they will do anything but pay me the benefits
um sensitivity training for government official ???
I have another tribunal this month

i have lots of paperwork sigh !!!!
believe it or not

this is still dragging on
it has just become a medical emergency
umm the government here will even ignore emergency situatutions for months
it is now over 9 years and i have registered a long list of complaints about my doctor

she apparently has been not specific enough and rather than correct the situation

i will be and have been penailzed due in part to her attitude and conduct

About my blog

This is basically my space to spill out everything I'm thinking and feeling.

Please note that some of the content here may be triggering.

What I write here is just me being honest with myself. Mostly just venting about things, realisations, and my path through healing.

There will be talk of CSA, SA, R, SI and ED here.
