A year ago
I came back from
transferring
my baby brother
to another hospital
and after waiting
48 hrs
a friend told me
that a friend had died
and the funeral was the next day
she had taken crisis calls from me
and waited until I was back
before telling me
I was in a strange city
and telling me then
while I was dealing with
brother's crisis
so she had both our friend's death
and my brother's crisis at the same time
my friend died from cancer after 6 years
she had been a rcc counsellor
one of mine
we had been in a group together
she knew my rapist
to be continued
