so i opened my birthday present from my brother

and all the missing birthday cards


my friend sang several different birthday songs

throughtout the day


it was good


it helped

and my friend followed through


on her entire plan

i received a lot of cards in the mail today



one that i will be taking to my t


i am doing artwork about my brother and planning more


a bunch of books

and a cd by celine dion arrived

i will be printing it out in segments in my blog

it was one of so many over the years


i cant capture him in just one

nephew is on a restricted diet


he is able to walk somewhat

he used his lightwriter

TO ASK WHEN AM I VISITING ?????

he has calmed down

and is on his best behaviour


we do have similar illnesses


i would say his is the more serious


his immediate goal is a slow recovery

I would travel the world

exploring its history and various cultures

where ever my research would lead me

to all sort of various places

a modern day explorer

so do Marco Polo

in Asia

and sail the oceans

ride the Orient express

show up for the big festivals

mom and i talked today

nephew was discharged yesterday


and will need further surgery


once he recovers from his 2 surgeries !!!!



mom was also in hospital for a dramatic weight loss


at the same time


she was discharged today




yes !!

i had both mom and nephew in the hospital at the same time...

she talked about the arrangements for my aunt's estate



she is wondering if I will visit her

so for some of the family dynamics

that complicate my life

mom's family is in denial about abuse

but it is played out

a phone call from mom is a soap opera

what with the cousins and second cousins !!!!


mom did have power of attorney for brother and nephew


and now dad's family has power of attorney for mom
