I have had a terrible headche all day. I came home late and missed a phone call from my nephew.
When I saw his name and the date on my call display I realized that it was the anniversary for my dad(perp)'s death. He is dead and I still do not feel recovered from his abuse

so last year I could not post for this anniversary

this year mom is feeling a lot of distress due to the behaviour of his family

and so am I.

I had hoped the nightmares would stop.

they have not

my brother "talks" to both my dad and our brother.

It is his way of way of coping with their deaths.

mom and I talked a little about dad

during my visit to my hometown


it is strange how she is now chaznging her eating habits

she is no longer eating foods that she would cook for Dad


it turns out

she never did like his fave foods

i find it eerie that the last time i spoke with my dad was Christmas eve


and how much was left unspoken


and yet every christmas since


i remember the last time

as i search the different christmas photos

from over the years


wondering about this man

I want valentine's day back


both from my childhood and THE relationship


supposely teachers get the most valentines

mom and i talked today

nephew was discharged yesterday


and will need further surgery


once he recovers from his 2 surgeries !!!!



mom was also in hospital for a dramatic weight loss


at the same time


she was discharged today




yes !!
