mom forgot that it was my aunt's birthday

I at least got to mentioned it to mom

and say once again that I miss my aunt

I talked a little about my aunt in my one group

quoting a lot of what I have already posted here

she talked about the arrangements for my aunt's estate



she is wondering if I will visit her


she is very distraught about how


dad's family handle his estate

so for some of the family dynamics

that complicate my life

mom's family is in denial about abuse

but it is played out

a phone call from mom is a soap opera

what with the cousins and second cousins !!!!


mom did have power of attorney for brother and nephew


and now dad's family has power of attorney for mom

i received a christmas card from my brother (big wide grin) dec 2008



I guess mom forgot to tell him that she signed for him as well


his signature is quite unique



mom could not copy it if she tried



I really did need a pick me up right now !!!!

the hardest moments included

while I was visiting my hometown

and realizing that she was not there

The aunt who broke the family conspiracy of silence

following my sister's death

died suddenly at her home in August

by a twist of fate

it was stunningly close

to the anniversary of her husband's

I have this voice in my head


it's hers


telling me I better eat

Medical tests again

all of my doctors keep testing me for various conditions


i am again being told that i may have cancer


i have enough cysts and lesions

all over


i have had enough tests

xrays and labwork



now i learn expressions such as


likely

impression

possible

incidential

beneign

superficial
