now i find that to my disadvantage

it is little wonder that rape is one of the least-reported crimes

perhaps it is the only crime in which the victim becomes the accused


and in reality,

it is she who must prove

her good reputation,


her mental soundness


and her impeccable propriety

I would believe that agencies respect the concept of consent

if they actually ensured informed consent

if consent was not consent by deception

if my consent can be withdrawn at anytime

if the proper information was actually exchanged

As a child, I was gang raped by relatives at birthday parties

In high school, I was at a party where a classmate was gang raped.

In university, my perps acted in pairs, covering for each other.

My abusive boyfriend was one of these types of perps.

about assisting students who have been sexually assaulted
