Word Salad

According to Wikipedia... "Word salad is a mixture of random words that, while arranged in phrases that appear to give them meaning, actually carry no significance. The words may or may not be grammatically correct, but the meaning is hopelessly confused."

I've never had a blog before and never kept a journal for more than a week. I often wonder what the point of all of this is. Does anyone read it? Does anyone care? Why on Earth would anyone be interested in anything I have to say?

There are so many random thoughts rolling around in my head that I feel "Word Salad" is the only way to describe it. Maybe, just maybe, by putting these thoughts into moderately coherent sentences, I'll be better able to make sense of my life (or lack thereof).

I don't expect anyone to read my ramblings and that's ok. I've been told by many people that the act of writing is supposed to be cathartic. We'll see...

Hey superhero

I like that, word salad. I may have to try it!

Welcome to blogging. Before I came here and started blogging, I never kept a journal for any length of time either.

You would be surprised at who may be interested in reading what you write here. I've gotten a lot of help from reading others writings. It is a great and wonderful thing to discover that you are not alone, that others feel like you do.

I've enjoyed reading what you wrote here. And yes, the act of writing is very cathartic. And I have found it to be very healing. I hope you can find some of the same in your writing.
One of the biggest benefits I have had after joining Pandy's was discovering that I wasn't alone in both my experiences and my feelings. That is why we read each others writings and why we usually share our thoughts regarding those writings. At times in my life I felt like there couldn't be anyone that related to what happened to me because it was just too horrible. (my older brother sexually abused me for YEARS) I found out there is a group of people that understand what I went through and after sharing I also found out so many of us have a lot of the same thoughts relating to our abuse.

Keep writing...it is amazing what you find out!
wow i am super impressed, i have never done a blog before, and this is the 1st tim i read and commented also :) super super job mate x x
