Today I'm volunteering at a Convoy of Hope event, and I can't help but wonder how I can give hope to the hopeless when I'm hopeless myself. My fiancÚ and I are falling apart and I'm trying my damndest to fix it. Needless to say, it's not working. Somewhere along the lines there was a momentary lapse in judgement, because he called me one night saying he doesn't believe in us anymore but he loved me anyway and the next morning he called me saying he does believe in us and he loves me. I hate to say it, but the lapse in judgement looks like it was the positive side. I'm starting to get the point and I guess if I haven't heard from him by tomorrow, I should just go get my stuff and leave him alone. It pretty much crushes me to say that, but there's nothing else I can do.

I think it's wonderful that you are volenteering, it's good for the spirit. Also, I think that you might find that giving hope to others will help to instill it even more in your own life as well.

Don't give up on your fiancee. I don't know what the lapse of judgment you referred to was, but from what you wrote it sounds like your boyfriend is just adjusting to whatever happened between you. Keep your faith, and be patient.

Hope it all works out for you  if okay
