"Rest stops" aka: where the big trucks go to park for the night.
Driving past those - I'd never been out and seen the semi trucks all clustered there, ever, - made my mind go blank and I felt briefly, two seconds of panic, but stayed grounded in my car and continued driving. It reminds me of "The Anaheim Incident", and being misplaced....not knowing where I was, and that scares me, being trapped in a place with someone you loathe.
"You pulled my trigger...
My clip is empty;
No ammunition.
Used all my
Weapons on you
Like a soldier
Who failed the mission;
In my condition...
The message won't get through." - Trigger, The Rasmus
The other thing was, in talking with a good friend tonight and her other friend: The fact that, with sex, you are "very vulnerable"; "in a way, you're naked in more ways than one, completely opening yourself up to another person and trusting them" - saying it like that makes me wish I could take back everything that happened with Michael, and Dylan....that I could have such a powerful, supposed-to-be-positive experience one day.
I would elaborate but it's way past bedtime and I need sleep.
All that said, I'm in an awesome mood and am hopeful for the weekend. :)/>
