If you’d told me a year ago that I’d take comfort from sitting for an hour in a darkened, empty Chaplaincy, thinking, praying and of course, reading the bible, I’d have probably given you a strange look, told you that you clearly know nothing about me and walked off. Yet, that’s exactly what I did this evening. It’s strange isn’t it, how things change so quickly. I still can’t believe that it was 4 years ago today, 4 years ago, quite possibly at this exact time, that I received that phone call, telling me of the terrible news. And to think, just minutes before, I’d been thinking how my day couldn’t get any worse, how wrong was I! It all seems surreal, like it didn’t really happen, any of it. Except, deep down, I know it did…

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families this evening. May God bless you and take care of you all. RIP :candle:/>
