I long for someone to love me just as I am, unconditionally, despite my faults, fears, and failures. About the only person in my life right now who does that is my son. The last time I wrote a blog entry on here, I don't think he was even a year old yet. Now he's three. I was having horrific post partum rapid cycling bipolar episodes at the time, and I still feel completely off balance. Now I am also going through a divorce.
I guess what I need most right now is someone to hold my hand, to wrap their arms around me, and just let me cry. But since my best friend passed away over a year ago, I have been feeling as though I have nobody.
You know the Gershwin song, Someone to Watch Over Me? I really feel like that's me these days: a little lamb, lost, wishing for someone to take care of me.
