it's about 3:15am, and i've been awake for about a half hour. actually, longer than that, but i didn't have a clock until i decided to just get out of bed, since i wasn't falling back asleep.
i've got this pain on my right side, which, according to a diagram of the human body, is right around my liver. i've been going to the doc for abdominal pain for over two months, and he hasn't done anything but poke and prod, no tests, nothing. when he pushed on the area day before yesterday, i about jumped off the exam table because it hurt so much, but he had zero reaction. his diagnosis is ------- stress. stress from my chronic back pain, from being a new mom, from dealing with my history, etc etc etc. meanwhile, the pain is now waking me up. not to mention, i can hear my husband snoring out here in the living room. he's been sick, so his snoring is bad when he's sick.
so, anyway, it could be stress, but i've had problems with my liver flaring up before, so maybe i'm a bit paranoid about it now. all i know is, i can't sleep. :glare:/>
