My dad is still in the hospital and will remain there for at least a week. It has been discovered he has a staph infection in his lungs and a touch of pneumonia. He is in an isolation room. Due to my own health issues I am not allowed to visit even with the surgical gown, mask and gloves and being sanatized but I was able to speak with him on the phone. Conversations on the phone are difficult as he is so hard of hearing even with his hearing aid so I have to speak very loud for him to hear me. He did sound out of breath. He told me they gave him a shot in his stomach for blood clot prevention and were giving him morphine which I am guessing to help him rest and sleep well.
My daughter has been working for the Census Bureau and they offered to extend her employment through july instead of mid April. :yay: She was excited as she likes this job, it is fun to her, it will give her something else to put on her resume and it pays very well. It means that she will be with me longer which is fine but hard on her being separated from her boyfriend who I refer to as Eddie Haskell. Alot can happen til July. Eddie Haskell got a job in another state which starts Wednesday and it is temporary construction as he needs to take a test for the 'high paying job' he wants. He is taking the test this next Monday so do not know if he will be here over the weekend. I hope not selfishly as I enjoyed my evening tonight with my daughter. It was a quiet evening where we listened to music while she played some computer game and I worked on my collaging. We laughed and spoke without interuptions.
My doctor office apologized profusely for once again screwing up sending the wrong script to them. They also gave me samples of meds all of them so I am feeling better already so am I hoping to get some things accomplished around my house.
It is now time for me to sleep and I am tired. Blessings to all.
