ode to a mother....

Posted by missophelia , 26 January 2014 · 205 views

I wrote this today, it is posted on my tumblr blog.  Thought I would share it here.

Ode to a mother
She was evil.
She was nasty, vindictive, spiteful…
A sick psycho….
A child molester….
And slowly, her facade began to crumble.
Her mask was peeled back,
Layer, by layer,
And suddenly,
Others around her,
Long believing that she was the innocent one,
That she was the good one, the pure one…
They began to see the truth,
To see the real evil….
To see what it was that was Inside of her.
The healing could come.

Thank you for sharing. I was just wondering to myself if ever the vile creature's called MY parents would ever be peeled back and exposed. Perhaps it starts with us seeing, knowing, understanding. Through your poem my thought for the day is "yes" indeed their is hope for the the exposure and the protective walls of lies, to come crumbling down all around them. Perhaps we will see it perhaps not, so many people unknowingly have a vested interest in their lies simply because they believe them. Thank you for reminding us their is "hope". V

Thank you for reading.

I think that, eventually, one day, they will be peeled back and exposed.  I am 49.  It has taken this long for my mother to start being exposed, and she's done it all by her self.

Stick with your truth.  Keep on your path.  And remember, there is hope.

And take gentle and good care of you.  You are important, and deserve the best.
