I haven't seen my t for about a year now (I think). My deductible was due again, and than to top it all off I lost my job. I have been doing good up until the last month. My dad's wife getting sick and dying has now got everything stirred up again.

I have new insurance, but my deductible is $350. My t requires his clients to pay the full $100 per therapy session until the deductible is met. Well, there is no way I have an extra $100 per week laying around! Plus it is an hour's drive, so I have to deal with the cost of gas on top of that $100. After the deductible is met it would only cost $20 per session plus gas, which I could do. Still have a month that I would have to come up with that extra money. There is no way right now, and right now I need to talk to someone.

I need to figure out what is going on and what the best way to deal with all this is.

I thought about trying to find a cheaper t, but I don't want to do that. I trust the one I have, and he knows everything.

This sucks!

I have a job, insurance, and a $3500 deductible. Rates same as you mentioned. When I tried to find a specialist in my area, they didn't take Anthem.

I think it is a post-war supply/demand phenomena. PTSD docs can pick and choose right now.
