After three hours of interrogation and being told I was never raped, I was practically comatose. My way of dealing with such extreme stress is to just shut down. By the time the police excused me and brought my boyfriend in for questioning I was barely conscious. My boyfriend was questioned for about an hour and a half and I actually fell asleep...

An Awakening

When I arrived on my lunch break to give the police a DNA sample I was actually shown into an interrogation room and questioned for three hours. Two detectives turned my world upside down.

At this point, my son and I are staying with my boyfriend of one year, and are trying to move on. my son has no idea what happened to me. He thinks a burglar broke into our apartment and was scarred away by finding out that we were home.

My son went to school, after 1 day off while I was in the hospital, and I went back to work. I was in shock....

The morning after

In the beginning
