After the MAJOR DOWNPOUR complete with thunder, lightning and flooding


My nephew took me out to lunch (he saved his allowance for the day)

mom allowed my nephew to visit my brother

my nephew was thrilled that the family all spent time together on Mother's Day

my nephew typed that his mom is with God

i also had a visit with him in mom's new home


Mom gave me a 600 photo albums for photos of him

my nephew probably be transferred to a grouphome for the holidays

the grouphomes are combined so that staff may have holidays


as much as I want my nephew to visit my brother

as much as my nephew wants to visit my brother


and as much as my brother wants a visit from my nephew

the bathtub working (so he can safely take a bath !)

Some day, maybe when my life is more settled,

I might find a way to answer my nephew's question about his father

I wish I could do it like in North Country


The counsellor of the day was not helpful with this either


How do I tell my nephew that his father raped his mom ?

What words could I possibly use ???

I had an easier time planning outings for the daycare, than visits with him.


He sounded disappointed on Friday, when he was told how long it could take.

So I had a phone call with my nephew tonight

his worker made the observation

that he was actively paying attention during the call

and made eye contact with her.
