assault anniversary

i spoke with my grief counsellor today a little about the assault

at the service for my friend

and how this was not about

my assailant reacting to the death of my sister or my friend

and she observed that yes it is different

the day has changed for me in so many ways

a national day of remembrance

blemished by another senseless act

there has been so much upheaval since my brothers death


he is missed

so is sis

i would like less upheaval right now

i have yet to have counselling for

most of my perps

there seems to be an one size fits all

approach by most of the agencies

i am bewildered by this approach

every death brings up memories again

I hope to be back soon....seems I got sold a laptop in may 2006 that did not have windows properly installed plus 1,000 other tech probs ! After waiting 44 ? loong days, it appears that in spite of "repairs" I have the exact same prob and 1.001 tech probs !!!!!!

1) I am not sure if the naming is cultural or not,

but at every family event,

He would point to one of the cousins

and they were put on the spot,

if you could name everyone in order,

you did receive a reward and every year

the list got longer.

It is cultural to name your ancestors

back for 7 generations

I have had a terrible headche all day. I came home late and missed a phone call from my nephew.
When I saw his name and the date on my call display I realized that it was the anniversary for my dad(perp)'s death. He is dead and I still do not feel recovered from his abuse

this year mom is feeling a lot of distress due to the behaviour of his family

and so am I.

I had hoped the nightmares would stop.

they have not

so mom had a really difficult valentine's day


and me ?


I want valentine's day back


both from my childhood and THE relationship


supposely teachers get the most valentines


and so if you are a teacher who is married with children



valentines day is YOUR day

The aunt who broke the family conspiracy of silence

following my sister's death

died suddenly at her home in August

by a twist of fate

it was stunningly close

to the anniversary of her husband's

I have this voice in my head


it's hers


telling me I better eat

so i am ill and need medical tests


nephew is seriously ill and may need emergency surgery

mom is ill and in the hospital


rapist and stalker keep intruding into my life



the professional dynamics keeps all of this spinning


and i could use a break !!!!
