i am thankful that


nephew survived the months of surgery

i do not have a broken wrist

although there is a city sidewalk that need to be fix



and that mom received medical treatment

for her broken shoulder from her fall

while visiting a friend

I hope to be back soon....seems I got sold a laptop in may 2006 that did not have windows properly installed plus 1,000 other tech probs ! After waiting 44 ? loong days, it appears that in spite of "repairs" I have the exact same prob and 1.001 tech probs !!!!!!

I have plans to see my nephew for lunch on Saturday. My mom (P) may join us. I thought that his group home worker would be there as well. Last night, his worker told me that they will be short staffed and I would be alone with my nephew and mom(P)............

nephew is on a restricted diet


he is able to walk somewhat

he used his lightwriter

TO ASK WHEN AM I VISITING ?????

he has calmed down

and is on his best behaviour


we do have similar illnesses


i would say his is the more serious


his immediate goal is a slow recovery
