A team of specialized nurses work there alongside gynecologists, psychologists and lawyers. Amongst their activities are weekly peer counseling sessions where trained “counselors provide free and confidential services to women of foreign origin living in Iceland. Peer counselors can give information about services and resources that are available, about life in Iceland and are also available just to chat and with other women.” Check their website for more info.
